From the
composition’s viewpoint, the film is based on a journey, where the arrival
station is the same as departure. The movie begins in the moment when a
person gets in the train to emigrate abroad. Through monologues and
dialogues with other passengers, we discover the lack of orientation of the
personages, who allusively hope to find themselves and their happiness by
geographical displacement. But they often realize that the arrival station
is nothing but the departure station.
The soundtrack of
the movie, from the beginning to the end, is the monotone sound of a train,
time by time interrupted by the train siren, which plays the role of
orthographic points in the movie.
